Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the LinePDF software, provided by ShareCo Development Inc., a Canadian corporation. They are deliberately short. If something here is unclear, email us before you buy.

The software

LinePDF is a Salesforce managed package installed into your org under the license presented at install time. The free tier is free for production use, not a trial. Paid tiers are billed per org, flat: no per-seat fees, no minimums, no per-document metering. You may cancel a monthly subscription any time; it runs to the end of the paid period. Annual prepays are refundable pro-rata in the first 60 days, then run to term.

Your data and your templates

The package transmits no data to ShareCo. Your records, your generated documents, and your templates stay in your org. Templates you create are yours. The rendering engine and package code remain ours, licensed to you.

Honest limits

We warrant the software does what the security page says: native Apex, no callouts, no OAuth, no connected apps. Beyond that, the software is provided as-is, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Acceptable use

Don't resell, sublicense, or repackage the software without a written agreement (white-label partners: email us, that agreement exists and is friendly). Don't attempt to circumvent tier limits. Don't use the software to violate the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia, after both sides have tried one good-faith conversation first.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be dated here and, for paying customers, emailed. Continued use after notice is acceptance.
